Crock-Pot Chili

crockpotchilirecipeWhen fall weather hits, chili is the first thing I make in the crock-pot! Then when the really cold weather hits, I always come back to this trusty recipe! And never fear, if you do not have a crock-pot, you can make this is a large stockpot on the stove! I just like to use the crock-pot as it allows me to dump everything in and let it work its magic. And sometimes I like to use fajita seasonings instead of chili seasonings, just to mix it up a bit. So without further ado…the recipe. A quick and easy chili to throw together in the crock pot!

Ingredients
  • 1 lb of ground turkey (or beef)
  • 2 large cans diced tomatoes
  • 1 large can tomato sauce
  • 1 pack chili seasonings
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 can cannellini beans
  • 1 can butter beans
  • 1 can black beans
Instructions
  1. Brown the ground beef & add the seasonings according to package instructions
  2. Drain tomatoes and beans
  3. Add tomatoes, beans, ground turkey, and tomato sauce to the crock pot
  4. Mix well
  5. Cook on low 3-4 hours
