A simple dip to make for parties and family gatherings. Full of fresh veggies and olives, this Mediterranean Hummus Dip is easy to make and a healthier option!
From Thanksgiving all the way to New Year’s Day, I feel like all we are doing is eating, snacking, and attending holiday festivities. It is so easy to grab one extra cookie or have one more serving of an appetizer.
Even though I love all the delicious, not-so-good for you food of the holidays, I also try to have a few healthier options that are just as delicious. A new favorite, that can be served any time of the year really, is this Mediterranean Hummus Dip.
It includes lots of fresh veggies and can be served with a variety of “dipping utensils” although my favorite is using pita chips to scoop up this yummy dip.
Ingredients
1 container of hummus
Mezzetta Olives
Cucumbers
Tomatoes
Feta Cheese
Directions
Spread the hummus onto a plate or serving dish.
Dice the olives, cucumbers, & tomatoes. Sprinkle over hummus.
Crumble the Feta cheese and sprinkle over everything.
Serve with veggies, pita chips, or crackers.
I love using Mezzetta olives in this recipe because they come in so many different varieties that are perfect for cooking OR just eating. Our holiday parties are not complete without a few bowls of olives sitting out as appetizers.
