When fall weather hits, chili is the first thing I make in the crock-pot! Then when the really cold weather hits, I always come back to this trusty recipe! And never fear, if you do not have a crock-pot, you can make this is a large stockpot on the stove! I just like to use the crock-pot as it allows me to dump everything in and let it work its magic. And sometimes I like to use fajita seasonings instead of chili seasonings, just to mix it up a bit. So without further ado…the recipe. A quick and easy chili to throw together in the crock pot!
Ingredients
- 1 lb of ground turkey (or beef)
- 2 large cans diced tomatoes
- 1 large can tomato sauce
- 1 pack chili seasonings
- 1 can kidney beans
- 1 can cannellini beans
- 1 can butter beans
- 1 can black beans
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef & add the seasonings according to package instructions
- Drain tomatoes and beans
- Add tomatoes, beans, ground turkey, and tomato sauce to the crock pot
- Mix well
- Cook on low 3-4 hours
